Barenbrug USA Appoints New Turf Grass Breeder
Tangent, Oregon - - - Joseph "J." Wipff has joined Barenbrug USA as a Turf Grass Breeder. He comes to Barenbrug with nineteen years of professional experience in academia and commercial environment. The last seven as a cool season turf grass breeder for Pure Seed Testing, Inc. in Canby, Oregon. He received his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from Texas A&M University in 1995.
Joseph is located at Barenbrug USA West Coast Research Center in Albany, Oregon. He will be responsible for the turfgrass breeding in United States, conducted at Barenbrug research sites in Oregon, Illinois, Virginia, and North Carolina. He will also cooperate with the other Barenbrug turf grass breeding stations around the world.
