On Thursday, October 25th Barenbrug USA Production officially opened their new office in Boardman, Oregon. Barenbrug USA Production is an Oregon-based production/processing company and is a subsidiary of Barenbrug North America, which is headquartered in Tangent, Oregon.
The new office in Boardman consists of seed production and processing, and sales, and again proves Barenbrug’s long-term commitment to the Columbia Basin. Barenbrug shares their office and fabulous view of the Columbia River with TIDEWATER Barge Lines, which is the largest barge and container line on the Columbia River.

A life-long resident of the local area, Don Obrist is the Vice President and General Manager of Barenbrug USA Production, which also includes the warehouse and production facilities in Imbler, Oregon. He has been with Barenbrug USA Production for 9 years and has a strong agriculture background. Don will continue to play an important role in expanding grass seed production in the Columbia Basin.
