Labarinth is the first RTF™ variety. The name Labarinth highlights the traits of RTF, while still showing its heritage! Labarinth is bred for increasing rhizome number and rhizome length in turf. The rhizomes produced by Labarinth form a labyrinth or mesh of roots unequaled by any other variety, making this a unique variety.

Rhizomatous Tall Fescue (RTF™) is a new type of tall fescue, which produces rhizomes. A rhizome is a creeping stem or runner that extends outward from the main plant underground. The rhizome will send a shoot up to the soil surface while extending new roots downward, forming a new plant. RTF behaves like a bluegrass, but like any other fescue it will survive the transition zone. The only seed you'll ever need!

Barlexas II

Barlexas II Turf type tall fescue is the new generation of our top performer Barlexas. This new improved variety is highly rated on the national turf trials. This dark green variety is ideal where an IPM program is in place. This fine bladed tall fescue is an excellent choice when blending with bluegrass. Barlexas II displays very good resistance to brown patch. Barlexas II is a dense dwarf type variety.

Barrera

Barrera Turf type tall fescue is a leader when it comes to shade tolerance. This fine bladed turf is excellent for blending with other Barenbrug tall fescue. Barrera is a very dark green variety displaying its ability to green-up early in the spring. Its tolerance to low mowing is a feature turf professionals look for.

Barrington

Barrington Turf type tall fescue is one of the newest Barenbrug tall fescue varieties. It is especially well suited to areas with full sun, as well as with lower rates of N application. It is an elite variety with dark  green color, excellent leaf texture and very dense growth habit, usable in areas with high demands on turf performance and appearance. Barrington also has high Brown patch resistance.

Easy Care Blend

A specially formulated blend of turf type tall fescues that are adapted to those areas requiring heat and drought tolerant species.

TF-66

TF-66 Turf type tall fescue is an excellent choice for areas where heavy traffic is a challenge. This deep-rooted variety has very good drought tolerance and great ability to tolerate traffic stress. One of our very dark colored varieties TF-66 also displays early spring green-up. Like many of our tall fescues this variety shows good brown patch resistance.

Tracer

Tracer Turf type tall fescue has been proven by the national turf trials for its exceptional dark green color. This variety has what everyone is looking for; a dwarf type which will tolerate low mowing height. The excellent winter color combined with the early spring green-up provides great color where winters are less severe. These features and the brown patch resistance of Tracer make this an excellent choice for home lawns and sports fields.
