Bearcat™

With a North Carolina breeding background, Bearcat features strong brown patch resistance and
very good heat tolerance for strong ‘full season’ turf transition zone performance. A medium green
color, Bearcat mixes well with most tall fescue turf and couples well with 5-10% Kentucky bluegrass.
Once firmly established, given a deep soil, Bearcat can develop a root system 6 feet deep or more.
With drought tolerance derived from deep rooted turf, Bearcat has strong drought tolerance once
established. Ideal for residential lawns and commercial landscape turf, Bearcat also thrives in parks,
green belts, and recreational turf areas. Bearcat makes a great component for blends, mixtures and all
